As many of you all know, I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary living in Nashville!! Music City is so inspiring, and is filled with so much to do and EAT. Often, I have lots of friends and family who come to visit the city. They always ask, "Ash, where should we go for the best food?" Through this past year, I have put together a little guide including my favorite spots for brunch, dinner, coffee, drinks and more!

I still feel like I have so much to explore in Nashville, but here are some of my favorite food spots in Music City. And don't you worry, I'll have another blog post coming soon with #allthings to do in Nashville including live music, shopping, activities, and more! I got you covered!

I've linked every restaurant to their Instagram account so it's easier to check it out quicker!

Milk + Honey - Get there right when the doors open since they don't take reservations. The Milk + Honey Latte is my favorite drink. Oh, and the cinnamon bun is the best starter.

Hampton Social - Fun, upbeat brunch. Don't forget to get a picture with the "Rosé All Day" neon sign!

Frothy Monkey - To die for coffee! Best for a quick and easy breakfast. The "California" dish is my fav.

Franklin Juice Company - Best acaí bowls! Perfect for a quick bite on the go with some fresh juice.

Saint Añejo – Mexican. Try the hot chicken taco. The margaritas are delish as well. (So my friends say, because spoiler alert: I'm not a tequila fan.)

Mother’s Ruin – American. This is a new spot in Germantown that is AMAZING. Get there right when they open for dinner because seating is limited.

Bartaco – Mexican. The duck taco is my fav! Such a fun + energetic environment.

The Pharmacy – Burger Joint. The best burger spot in East Nashville with a huge back patio.

O-Ku - Sushi. The edamame is one of my favorite appetizers!

Pinewood Social – American. You can put your name on the waitlist for a bowling lane!

Pastaria - Italian. Okay, really any pasta dish you get at Pastaria will be amazing. Last time I got pistachio ravioli and Josh got chicken parm; both were delish! Also, risotto balls are a must!

Hattie B's - Hot Chicken. Nashville is known for their famous hot chicken, so anything on Hattie B's menu is a must try! This spot is perfect for lunch.

Five Daughter's Bakery - 100. Layer. Donut. That's all I gotta say. Protip: Get the Purist Donut; it's like a Krispy Kreme donut on steroids.

Jeni's Ice Cream - I'm dairy sensitive, but I break my own rules for Jeni's. The brambleberry crisp flavor is a fan fav!

Baked on 8th - This bakery will make all your cake dreams come true. You can order by the slice.

Gracie's Milkshake Bar - If you're looking for an extravagant and instagram-able milkshake, Gracie's is the place for you!

Crema - I love the lavender latte. It's different, but SO good.

Barista Parlor - There are a few locations, but my favorite is the Barista Parlor - Golden Sound in the Gulch. You can find old car parts and a record playing to set the vibe.

Pins Mechanical - My favorite hangout spot with old arcade games and duck pin bowling.(Dogs are allowed which is ALWAYS a plus - Rae is a regular LOL.)

The Bobby - A rooftop bar at the Bobby Hotel. There is a cool, old bus on the rooftop. Plus you can catch some of the best views of downtown from there.

White Limozeen - A funky + fancy new rooftop at The Graduate Hotel. Great for photo ops!

L.A. Jackson - A rooftop bar at the Thompson hotel in the Gulch. Get the frosé!

So who's ready to plan a trip to Nash? If so, make sure you're ready to eat your weight in food, because seriously all restaurants are UNBELIEVABLE. Don't say I didn't warn you. :)
