Happy second official day of fall ya'll! Fall is one of my favorite seasons and I love any excuse to throw burnt colors and pumpkin scents into my home. Below I've rounded up six ways that you can spice up your space for the season of Pumpkin Spiced Lattes. LOL.

1. Add a Fall Pillow to Your Living Room

It's crazy how much one pillow can make such a huge difference in a space. Try adding orange or mustard colored pillows to your couch. Just one new addition can make it pop! TjMaxx and Kirkland's are my two favorite stores to shop for affordable pillows! Check out this one!

2. Burn a Cozy Candle

I love a good pumpkin or cedar smelling candle for the fall. As you all may know, Anthropologie is my go-to for candles. Their pumpkin clove candle is the best fall scent out there; it's not too sweet which I like. I also came across a local Nashville company, Nellamoon. They have a ton of fall candles that have AMAZING reviews! I want to try the "let's get cozy" scent, partially because I think the name is so stinkin cute!

3. Change Out Your Doormat

Okay, so I never realized how dang expensive doormats can be until I started looking. I came across this adorable holiday doormat for $13 that says "Come In + Cozy Up." This would be a great mat to use for all seasons since the wording isn't too specific to a particular season.

I also came across a blogger who made a DIY fall doormat that turned out ADORABLE. Check it out here!

4. Throw a Comfy Blanket on Your Couch

A cute throw never gets old. To add a subtle taste of fall, try out an orange or plaid blanket. I found this super cozy one with cute lil pom pom's at Pottery Barn. It reminds me of a blanket I already have that I can curl up in for hours. Plus it's on sale right now!

5. Decorate Little Nooks with Mini Pumpkins

There's something about a real pumpkin that I just love. There are tons of mini fake pumpkins on the market, but they just aren't the same. I found little white pumpkins when I went grocery shopping at Trader Joe's last week. I grabbed a couple to add to my desk, and my entry way. They are only a few bucks too!

6. Add an Autumn Wreath to Your Door

First impressions are everything. Your neighbors need to know you are serious about pumpkin season by having a wreath on your front door. LOL. I'm super picky about greenery; I don't want it to look too fake. I found this wreath from Kirkland's that is very simplistic and is made of natural dried wheat! My style is very neutral and natural as you can tell. HAHA.

I hope this post inspires you to add some fall touches to your home! Or maybe inspires you to find some fall DIY projects or recipes on Pinterest. Fall is coming into full swing, and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT.

I'm sure this won't be the last of my fall content because I am just too excited. LOL. How are you preparing for fall? Please share!

stay creative + cozy,

- xoxo ashley g.
